About This Tool

Alright, so you’ve probably seen those little preview cards when you paste a link into Slack, Twitter, or Facebook. You know—the title, a snippet of text, and maybe an image? That’s an Open Graph tag doing its thing. And if you’ve ever tried to set those up manually, you know it’s kind of a pain. That’s where this Open Graph Generator comes in. It’s not fancy. It’s not trying to impress you. It just helps you create the meta tags you need so your links actually look decent when shared.

I built this because I got tired of digging through documentation every time I wanted to share a blog post or project link. I’d forget the exact syntax, mess up the image dimensions, or accidentally leave out a required property. This tool cuts through that. You fill in a few fields, hit generate, and boom—you’ve got clean, ready-to-use code. Copy it, paste it into your HTML head, and you’re done.

Key Features

  • Generates all the essential Open Graph meta tags in one go
  • Lets you preview how your link will look on major platforms
  • Supports custom images, titles, descriptions, and URLs
  • Outputs clean HTML you can drop directly into your site
  • No signup, no tracking, no nonsense—just a simple form and results
  • Works offline once loaded, so you can use it even without internet

FAQ

Do I need to know HTML to use this?
Nope. You don’t need to be a developer. Just fill in the fields—title, description, image URL, etc.—and the tool spits out the code. If you can copy and paste, you’re good.

Why doesn’t my image show up when I share the link?
Most of the time, it’s because the image URL is broken, too small, or blocked by the server. Make sure your image is at least 1200x630 pixels and publicly accessible. Also, some platforms cache old metadata, so you might need to use a tool like Facebook’s Sharing Debugger to refresh it.
